It is late--like a couple of months late...but alas, I, Kimberly Nelson, the mother of Hermana Ashley Nelson
am finally following her instructions and posting to her mission blog. I am old...like REALLY old, so I don't get some of this new fangled (that's an old lady term right there for you) technology stuff...and I've been dragging my feet about it all.
But today I was inspired by my good friend Holly whose daughter is serving in Peru.
She printed me out the instructions her daughter had typed out for her
and told me...
"It really IS easy...you can do it!"
So, here you go world...and Hermana Nelson...
my first entry on the what will surely be the most awesome Hermana Nelson Mission Blog.
I love you Ashley!
P.S.
Remember when you were about 6 years old
and we were trying to get you and Alyse to try to learn how to water ski?
Alyse promptly said "no way"
but you thought about it, looked at Dad and then me, as we all sat out there on the Columbia River,
and said...
"Well, if you don't learn when you're young,
you'll be stupid when you're old....
and I'm NOT going to be stupid when I'm old."
Well said, dear daughter...and so just for you I will try to not be old and stupid
and I will do this blog.
